Warwick website development

Two economies in one town, and they want different websites

A holiday let by the castle and a solicitor on Jury Street have almost nothing in common beyond needing a site that loads fast and tells the truth. Most Warwick websites are built as though they were the same job. We are up the road in the north Cotswolds and our number is a Stratford one, so we can come and work out which one you are before anybody draws anything.

01

Down the road

North Cotswolds office, Stratford phone number. Close enough that a first meeting in Warwick is a drive rather than a video call.

02

Built to be found

Structured for Google and for the AI answers that now sit above it, which is two jobs rather than one.

03

Looked after

Hosted, patched and backed up by us. Most of what we have built in Warwickshire we still run today.

Warwick

A county town that trades two ways at once.

Warwick is not one market. There is the visitor town, the castle, the Lord Leycester, the Market Place and everything that lives off the coach parties and the weekenders. And there is the county town underneath it, the solicitors, accountants, surveyors, agents and consultancies working out of the Georgian frontages on Jury Street and Northgate who will not see a tourist all week.

Those two want close to opposite things from a website. One is fighting for attention in the ten seconds before somebody picks a different lunch. The other is being quietly checked over by a prospect who already has your name and is deciding whether you look serious enough to ring. Build for one and you do not accidentally get the other, which is why so much of Warwick’s web work reads like it was made for somebody else.

Then there is the third Warwick, the engineering and games corridor running out through Tachbrook Park towards Leamington, where the buyer is technical and your site gets read by somebody who could have built it themselves. All three need the same foundations. Fast pages, straight answers on price and process, and structure that Google and the AI assistants can read without having to guess. What changes is everything on top.

Areas we cover across south Warwickshire

CV34 and the streets around it. Hospitality, retail, holiday lets, professional services, trades and the town’s charities and community groups.

The neighbours

Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Whitnash, Barford, Hampton Magna, Budbrooke and Warwick Gates.

The wider county

Stratford upon Avon, Shipston on Stour, Alcester, Southam and the villages in between.

We work nationally too. Being local is an option, not a limit

What we build

Four kinds of job, one way of working.

01

Websites for Warwick businesses

The site that does the selling when the shop is shut and the office is empty. Built so somebody standing in the Market Place with one bar of signal can still load it, and so your team can change the opening hours or the fee guide themselves without ringing anyone.

Bookings, shops and enquiries

Rooms, tables, tickets, courses and products on one side. Enquiry forms, fee guides, case studies and referral routes on the other. A visitor facing business in Warwick usually gains most by taking the booking on its own site rather than handing a share of it to a platform. A professional firm usually gains most by making the first enquiry feel low risk.

Being found, in Google and in AI answers

Warwick is a busy search term because the castle brings everybody here, which means you are competing with national listings sites as much as with the firm next door. Ranking in the map pack and the results is one job. Being a source an AI assistant will quote when somebody asks where to eat, stay or find a solicitor in Warwick is now a second. Both rest on the same honesty about who you are and what you do.

Hosting and looking after it

Hosting, patching, hourly backups, uptime monitoring and someone local to ring. Most of the sites further down this page have been in our care for years, which is the only reason we can talk about them honestly.

Working in Warwickshire and the Cotswolds since

2005

Twenty years is a long time to have to live with your own decisions. It is also why almost everything on this page is a site we still host, patch and answer the phone for.

How it runs

Five stages, and you see every one of them.

01

Talk

Half an hour on what the site has to do, what is not working now, and who it is really for. In Warwick if you would rather.

02

Plan

Sitemap, page purpose and a fixed price agreed in writing. This is what everything gets checked against later.

03

Design

You see and sign off the design before a line of it is built, which is the cheapest possible moment to change your mind.

04

Build

Built and tested on a private staging address. You review it on your own phone before anybody else sees it.

05

Look after

Hosting, patching, backups and a monthly look at what the numbers are saying. Or hand it over entirely. Your call.

Questions

The things Warwick businesses actually ask.

Answered plainly, because a page that dodges the price question tends to get closed.

  1. Do you actually meet clients in Warwick?

Yes. Our office is in the north Cotswolds and our phone number is a Stratford one, so a first meeting is usually in person if you would rather. Your premises, or a coffee near the Market Place. After that most people are happy on a call, but the option does not go away.

  2. How much does a website cost?

It depends on scope, goals and features. A five page site for a Warwick trade and a booking system that takes payments are different pieces of work, and quoting either from a price list would be guessing. We will give you a fixed figure in writing after a proper conversation about what the site has to do.

  3. We are a professional firm, not a shop. Is this still for you?

Very much so. A good share of what we build is for firms whose enquiries arrive slowly and get scrutinised carefully: occupational health, lighting design, consultancies, trustees and boards. The work is different in emphasis rather than in kind. Less shouting, more evidence, clear people and clear process, and a site that reads as though grown ups run it.

  4. How long does a build take?

Most sites run somewhere between six and ten weeks from the first meeting to going live. The variable is almost never the build. It is content, and how quickly the photographs and the words come back.

  5. Will my site rank for Warwick searches?

Rankings are earned rather than bought, so nobody honest promises you a position. Warwick is competitive too, because the castle pulls national listings sites into every result. What the build does guarantee is that nothing is standing in the way: clean structure, fast pages, correct local markup and a site that Google and the AI assistants can read without tripping over it. The rest is content, reviews and time.

  6. Can I update it myself afterwards?

Yes. Everything we build runs on WordPress with an editor your team can actually use. We show you how, we leave you notes, and we are on the end of the phone when something looks odd.

  7. What happens once it goes live?

We host it, patch it, back it up hourly and watch that it is still up. Most of the sites on this page have been in our care for years, which is rather the point. A website that nobody is looking after decays quietly, and you tend to find out from a customer.
